Climate models predict that water vapour, the most important greenhouse gas, remains at an approximately constant fraction of its saturated value, that is, constant relative humidity in the upper troposphere in response to global warming with increasing CO2 concentrations. But actual measurements shows that at 9 km altitude (300 mb pressure) the relative humidity has declined by what percentage from 1948 to 2007?
